C&I Pedagogy Colloquium
This colloquium explores the application of the Theory of Variation as a pedagogical tool in planning and teaching in the Learning Study projects developed in Hong Kong, with a focus on the importance of understanding student learning in the teaching process and the impact of variations on student learning outcome. It examines the main constructs of the Variation Theory, studies exactly how the Theory operates in classroom teaching in different subjects so as to bring about powerful student learning. This colloquium consists of two papers.
